HIV Remote Consultation Survey
From Monday 24th August you may be asked to take part in a survey following a remote consultation with your HIV clinician. If you opted to complete the survey online please follow the link texted to you. If you have opted for a call-back telephone survey, a member of our team will call you within 72 hours of your last appointment.
We want to continue to support you to get the sexual health advice, care and treatment you need.
Telephone advice is available on 01592 64 79 79 Monday to Friday between 08.30am and 4pm.
The range of care we can provide face-to-face is still restricted and we will discuss options with you when you call. If we need to see you after our telephone consultation we will plan this with you.
Please note: Due to restrictions we cannot see anyone without an appointment.
We can offer a video call as an alternative to a phone call for advice from the Sexual Health & Blood Borne Virus team.
Please phone 01592 64 79 79 Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm to arrange a video consultation. Your details will be taken and a nurse or doctor will call you back.
If we need to see you after your telephone consultation we will plan this with you. Video consultation may be useful if you have hearing impairment or if there is someone else in another location you wish to be included in the call.
Oral emergency contraception should be taken as soon as possible but can still work up to 5 days after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure.
This can be accessed from your local Pharmacy free of charge.

To feel isolated within an abusive relationship or have endured a sexual assault, rape, or any form of Gender Based Violence can leave you feeling so alone. Social distancing & lockdown can make this even harder.
